Report

Four changes and four goals for table-topping Tottenham Ladies in the GLLL Premier Division at the weekend.

With last week’s goal star Lucy Pinnock and goalkeeper Helen Wilson amongst the absentees, Emma Sheals and keeper Charlotte Kao came in for first-team debuts.

Early pressure told in the sixth minute when Emma Sheals and Jenna Schillaci were both fouled in the penalty area.

Regular penalty taker Siw Wiggen stepped up to calmly slot the penalty home only to be ordered to retake it for encroachment. Wiggen simply repeated the trick from the spot for 1-0.

QPR levelled after 15 minutes and Kao was forced into action as both teams created chances in the first half.

La Toyah Johnson headed home Katy D’Agostino’s (pictured) free-kick after 52 minutes and Spurs were in business.

Eleven minutes later skipper Jackie Fearon scored with a drive from 20 yards following some good work by Schillaci and Johnson.

The scoring was completed on 79 minutes when Fearon claimed her second of the match with a low shot from just inside the area following a good cross from Schillaci down the left-hand side.

Spurs Ladies: Kao, Jones, D’Agostino, Wiggen, Hammarin, Sheals, Blackmore, Fearon, Oliver, Schillaci, Johnson.
