Report

Spurs came back from a goal down to win a game they dominated throughout against Crowborough Ladies.

All through the first half, Tottenham had most of the possession, but somehow Crowborough scored the first goal through a defensive error.

Shadine Mars linked with her new strike partner, Lucy Auguste, soon after to slot the ball home for the well deserved equaliser.

The back four formed a formidable unit and were the springboard for the Spurs attacks, when, 10 minutes before the break, Carly Snell broke up an attack and passed to Rosi Webb. A sweet through ball found Chanel Breen in the left hand channel to score what was to be the decisive goal.

All the second half pressure Tottenham had saw them unable to add to the lead, but Kat Clifton went close with a 30 yard free-kick, Auguste shaved the post and Mars had four good opportunities, but Tottenham were well worth the three points.

Squad: Lacey Amato, Carly Snell, Kelly Herrett (c), Mel Berry, Rosi Webb, Kathleen Clifton, Geena Gordon (Kerry Daniells), Chanel Breen, Lucy Auguste, Shadine Mars (Katie Taylor) Claire Singh (Ebony Heath).
