Report

A trip to Brimsdown to meet local rivals Enfield Town saw Spurs start in a positive manner and an early attack by Jessie Richards brought a save from Town keeper Jo Ayre.

Enfield had the ball in the net, but the Tottenham defence had played them offside and the goal was ruled out and then Mel Berry and Dom Clarke threw themselves in the way of an Enfield free-kick to block the shot.

At the start of the second half, Enfield put Spurs under pressure and scored a scruffy goal. Weathering the Enfield storm in the rain and with the clock ticking down, Nichola Cable picked up a loose ball 25 yards out and hit a shot which seemed destined for goal, until the Enfield keeper made a super save and just managed to tip the ball round the post to see the game finish 1-0 in Town's favour.

Squad : - Ricole Vyse, Dom Clarke, Kelly Herrett (c), Mel Berry, Sam Garner, Clare Singh, Nichola Cable, Gill Blackmore, Hayley Graham, Alex Small, Jessie Richards Subs : Kerry Daniells, Sasha Kelly, Jenny Curtis.
