Spurs Ladies ended their WFA Cup run with a 4-1 defeat by Northampton Town at Broxbourne Borough FC.
Both teams were out to attack on a cold day, with Northampton taking a lead which was short-lived, when Clare Singh's corner dropped for Kirsten Thomson (pictured) to smash home an equaliser.
Unfortunately, a goal shortly after half-time for the visitors left Spurs chasing the game and they were caught on the break twice more.
A late chance for Alex Small (pictured on home page) brought a fine save from the Northampton keeper, who held on to progress to the third round.
Elsewhere there was also a cup defeat for the Under-13s as they were beaten 3-1 at home by Crystal Palace in the semi-finals of the London FA Youth Cup.
The Reserves drew 0-0 at home with a strong Camden Town side, while the Under-16 Blues suffered a 6-0 home defeat at the hands of Southend United.
