Report

The Spurs Ladies slipped to a 3-2 defeat at home to Norwich City at the weekend despite dominating the game in periods.

As has happened before this season, the Ladies fell behind before beginning to show what they are capable of and a Canaries goal just before the break was against the run of play.

The second half saw Norwich extend their lead to 3-0, but then an 80th minute Ryah Vyse cross was well met by the head of Jessie Richards (pictured) and Spurs were back in the game.

With three minutes left, Alex Small created another chance dispatched by Richards, but it was just too late to try to gain a point from the match.

The Reserves made it through the first round of the GLRWFL Cup with a 2-1 home victory over Fulham Compton OB, thanks to goals from Sasha Kelly and Dee Gilbert.

The youth sides were also in good form, none more so than the Under-12s who defeated Denham United Wildcats 9-0 at home with Tia Fogarty netting a hat-trick.

There were 4-0 victories for the Under-15s, Under-14s and Under-10 Whites, draws for the Under-11s and Under-10 Blues, and a solitary defeat for the Under-13s.
