Report

Spurs Ladies maintained their title push in the South-East Combination with a 4-0 win against MK Dons on Sunday.

They maintained their unbeaten home record to make it 10 wins and a draw in 12 league matches so far. They are three points behind leaders Enfield Town with two games in hand.

Spurs Ladies were quickly in gear against an MK Dons team third in the table at start of play.

They took the lead after 14 minutes through Emma Kayser and doubled it when Kirsten Thomson delivered a cross to the far post for Rosie Webb to head home for 2-0 at the break.

Webb was there again to make it 3-0 from Biance Baptiste's cross before Kayser picked out Baptiste to complete a fine victory.

Manager Karen Hills was delighted with the performance. "It was very pleasing because in the last couple of weeks we haven't played well, but this time everyone was on their game," she said.

"This was a really important match for us and to come away with a well-deserved three points against such tough opposition was a great achievement."
