The ladies lit up the main stage of Plymouth's Home Park Stadium - home of the League Two club - with a fine display in front of a healthy crowd of 500 on Sunday.
There were a few changes to the team that landed the London Cup against MSA Sports with Nicola Cable and Jess Cheeseman playing centre midfield and Ebony heath at centre-back.
Spurs dominated from the first whistle and Jess was fouled in the 15th minute, allowing Sam Pittuck to fire home from the penalty spot.
Vicky Elcome lashed home a 30-yarder to make it 2-0 before half-time.
Plymouth struck back early in the second half and streamed forward looking for a leveller but Sam and Ebony held firm.
The ladies then restored their two-goal advantage through prolific striker Wendy Martin, via a free-kick routine the team had worked on. Bianca Baptiste then completed the victory, bursting through the defence, skipping past the goalkeeper and slotting home.
"We were delighted with the result, not least after a 16-hour round trip to Plymouth," said Karen.
"I was happy with the performance as the football we played was exciting and pleasing to watch. A crowd of over 500 turned up to watch women's football and I'm sure they wouldn't have been disapppointed with what they saw from both teams.
"Another bonus was scoring from a well-worked free-kick. We've worked a lot on set-pieces this season, to credit to the girls for delivering that on the pitch."
