If scoring 26 goals in a week wasn't enough - goalkeeper Toni-Anne Wayne got in on the act for Spurs Ladies on Sunday.
One of three substitutes for the FA Women's Premier Leaue Cup tie against Enfield Town Ladies, Toni-Anne was thrown into the action with five minutes remaining with her team 4-0 up.
Enfield made it 4-1 but Toni-Anne had the final word in added time, racing onto Nikita Whinnett's flick before firing low into the corner for 5-1.
Manager Karen Hills explained: "We had a player drop out at the last minute, so we had two outfield substitutes plus Toni.
"She sometimes plays on pitch during training, so I know she can play and I asked her if she'd be happy to go on.
"Wendy Martin scored a hat-trick so I took her off and threw Toni on. She did really well and hit the post before scoring! It was a great moment for everyone."
Spurs Ladies overcame a stubborn Enfield Town outfit 5-1 advancing through to the third round of the FA Women’s Premier League Cup - with goalkeeper Toni-Anne Wayne coming off the bench to get amongst the goals.
Karen Hills’ side were slow to come out of the traps, until Riana Soobadoo placed a 25-yard curler past the upright. Kelley Blanchflower’s looped pass gave Maya Vio a chance to test Jodie Sanderson with a dipper to no avail.
Nikita Whinnett’s drive flew past the post, Green’s lay-off led to Shannon Moloney’s teasing cross forcing Sanderson to palm away the danger and Renée Hector guided her header wide. Sophie McLean’s quick-feet saw her break away from Beth Demery before testing Sanderson with a low strike and the goalkeeper then kept out Lucia Leon’s bouncing header as she connected with Mclean’s delivery.
The breakthrough came on 39 minutes, Soobadoo, Leon and Whinnett combined on the edge of the area and the latter found Wendy Martin to power home across goal.
Spurs carried the momentum into the second period, Leon’s cross was just headed over by Whinnett with the goal gaping.
It was 2-0 just before the hour, Leon’s low driven cross found Abbie Bensted who guided her pass towards Martin for a placed effort into the bottom corner. A third arrived just two minutes later, Martin capped off a hat-trick from close range, connecting with Whinnett’s precise cross from the right.
A fourth arrived 15 minutes from the end, Leon finished inside the near-post on the volley meeting Whinnett’s cross from the left flank. Spurs’ No1 Wayne operated as a striker replacing Martin up front and she zipped a half-volley inches wide within seconds.
Ellie Taladiana pulled one back for Enfield with two minutes remaining, finding a finish off her shins after pressuring Megen Lynch from six yards.
The truly unforgettable moment arrived in added time. Whinnett flicked-on Leon’s floated pass towards Wayne, who burst towards goal from the inside right channel, finishing emphatically into the bottom corner and opening her account for the Lilywhites.
