Who made this website?
This is the hobby project of one Spurs fan from Australia. It's just me building and refining it in my spare time.
Why did you make it?
I love seeing how different things connect at Spurs; for example, I really wanted a way to see a history of Spurs matches by kit. That green kit is famous for Ajax away, but which other matches did we wear it in?
How did you make it?
I compiled the data from various sources on the internet, manually cleaning and formatting it for the interface I wanted. I probably could have used an API but that would have been a lot less fun, and probably not given me all of the data I wanted.
What about the tech stack?
Can I help?
I'd love to have some help! There are a few things that I'm missing:
- The full kit history; I'd love to lean on this amazing site
- Formations; I want to add the formation Spurs used in each match, but there's quite a lot to compile there
- The position each player started a match in (so you could refine results based on Son Heung-min at LWB...)
- I'll add to this list as I think of things...
I also get lots of requests for more data visualisation options. I'm not a data expert by any means, so if that's something you're interested in helping with I'd be happy to hear from you.
Can I support you in other ways?
I'm never going to have ads or anything like that, and although you can create an account from additional features, I'll never charge for any access. However, it does take a bit of time to maintain and add features and the licenses and hosting cost a bit of money, so if you want to chip in, that would be amazing! You can donate here.
