Edouard Mendy kept out Serge Aurier's ferocious strike while Steven Bergwijn scooped another Spurs chance over the bar.

"The clean sheet factor against a side set up to counter-attack - that was excellent. We didn't give Harry Kane or Son Heung-min a sniff."

"Nobody gambled. Nobody tried to change the direction of the game. Everybody was thinking 'one mistake, we get punished'."
